AMI Ship-routing service impresses MP

A Banchory offshore-support company has welcomed Aberdeenshire West and Kincardine Liberal Democrat MP Sir Robert Smith on a tour of its operations.

Sir Robert said: AMI is an important example of locally based businesses providing a worldwide service on the back of their links to the North Sea. I was particularly impressed with the potential environmental benefit of their ship routing service . . . a ship that spends less time on a journey will save fuel and reduce the damage done to the environment.
